Kitchen Ops
Front and back of house in real time: prep board, station load, ticket timing and blockers under control.

Overview
Kitchen Ops starts from the moment service breaks: a late ticket, an overloaded station, a blocker nobody escalated. In the kitchen the problem is not a lack of data, it is the distance between data and the immediate gesture.
The platform builds a real-time service view: prep board, station load, ticket timing, blocker escalation, service health and shift coordination. Every surface is designed to be read in seconds, with your hands full.
The metrics speak the kitchen's language: median ticket, stations on watch, hourly throughput and on-time fire rate. These indicators change during service, not at the end of the day, and they are meant to drive decisions now.
The mock-first architecture with separate repositories and services and a Supabase adapter makes the product demonstrable without depending on a real POS. Sample data covers stations, orders, alerts, shift and service health, so the flow holds under peak load.
It is built with Next.js 14, React 18, TypeScript, Tailwind CSS, Framer Motion and Supabase. In the seed, fire rate is 84%, median ticket is 12 minutes and throughput is 46 tickets per hour: the kitchen sees its own rhythm and can correct it.
Results
Service becomes readable in real time: 84% on-time fire rate, 12-minute median ticket and 46 tickets per hour, with blockers and station load visible.
